Besides the Predator lineup the brand was bringing into Malaysia yesterday, Acer also announced the availability of its Connect M6E 5G Mobile Wi-Fi, its portable mobile hotspot device.
We first saw the M6E earlier this year during IFA 2025. Acer says that its portable 5G Mobile Wi-Fi is capable of delivering up to 28 hours of high-speed internet, thanks to the massive 8,000mAh battery that powers it. Charging is conducted via the USB-C port, which, if you’re planning to have it operating for longer than the allotted time, you can just keep it plugged in.

The M6E uses 2×2 MIMO connectivity, and is capable of sustaining a connection of up to 20 devices at a single time. Additionally, it also makes use of Wi-Fi 6E and the 6GHz band, cutting down on network congestion typically found on the more common 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
The M6E supports nano SIM, eSIM, and Virtual SIM via SignalScan technology and is compatible with the telco services of over 135 countries. Other features include enterprise-level data security via WPA3 encryption, SIM Lock, and even VPN support. It’s also physically sturdy, thanks to its MIL-STD 810H standard and even has an IP68 rating. Oh, and it weighs 300g, allowing you to chuck it into your backpack or cross-body bag just like that.

The Acer Connect M6E 5G Mobile Wi-Fi is already available at all authorised retailers and Acer’s eStore. It retails for RM999.
