KUALA LUMPUR: Former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was questioned in Parliament today by Kota Melaka MP Khoo Poay Tiong about his son-in-law’s whereabouts, who is said to be living a life of luxury in the Middle East while on the run as a fugitive.
“On poverty, Pagoh, what about the son-in-law, living in the middle east, playing golf, living in luxury and on the run, facing graft charges?” Khoo said as Muhyiddin was debating the 2026 Supply Bill.
Yesterday, the NST reported that fugitive businessman Datuk Seri Muhammad Adlan Berhan, who has been on the run for more than two years, is believed to be living it up in the Middle East.
Adlan is wanted by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission for alleged criminal breach of trust.
Photographs shared with the New Straits Times show Adlan in the company of several Middle Eastern dignitaries.
