KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning for several areas in , Kuala Lumpur, and .

MetMalaysia said thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected in , involving Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat and Sepang.

The warning also covers the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and the Federal Territory of .

The alert, issued at 11.55am, remains in effect until 2pm.
