KUALA LUMPUR: Hundreds of thousands of vehicles are expected on the West Coast Expressway (WCE) during the long weekend in conjunction with the Malaysia Day celebration.
In a statement, WCE said the average daily traffic is expected to reach 150,000 vehicles from Sept 12 through Malaysia Day on Sept 16.
“To ensure a safe and smooth journey for all highway customers, WCE urges drivers to plan their trips early, drive responsibly, adhere to speed limits, and exercise patience during peak travel hours.
“WCE highway patrol teams will be actively monitoring the expressway throughout the extended weekend, ready to assist travellers and maintain safer road conditions.”
