Unlike its predecessor, the X200, the Vivo X300 sports a smaller 6.31″ display, making it the successor to both last year’s X200 and the X200 Pro Mini. In fact, Vivo describes the X300 as a “Pro” grade smartphone in a “Mini” form factor.

Anyway, the 6.31″ display is a 120Hz LTPO OLED from BOE that pushes out a resolution of 2640×1216 pixels.

Under the hood, the Vivo X300 series is the world’s first smartphone to feature MediaTek’s latest flagship mobile chipset, the Dimensity 9500. Essentially a competitor to Qualcomm’s top dog, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Vivo says the Dimensity 9500 achieved over 4.1 million points in AnTuTu benchmarks.

Working together with the Dimensity 9500 is Vivo’s own V3+ imaging chip. And speaking of imaging, the X300, like its predecessor, packs a tri-camera setup that’s been co-developed with Zeiss, but with a series of upgrades.
