Amidst the sea of leaks surrounding the X300 series, vivo has officially started teasing some details about its next flagship device. Based on the specifications provided, the company is aiming to make the handset series a worthy contender for the new iPhone 17, while also giving it some features that will let it play nice with Apple‘s ecosystem.
According to Gizmochina, both the X300 and X300 Pro will reportedly be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. It also reported that the base variant will come with 16GB RAM. It is worth noting that the vivo X200 and X200 Ultra also run with up to 16GB RAM, and are powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 9400+ and Snapdragon 8 Elite, respectively.

The similarities between the vivo X300 series do not end there, as both devices were teased to have the Cinematic Portrait video recording feature. The feature is said to allow the two devices to support 4K resolution capture at 60fps.
While on the topic of cameras, the vivo X300 Pro will exclusively feature the company’s self-developed V3+ image signal processor (ISP). That said, there is no news about the base variant’s ISP.

As mentioned, vivo is gearing up to go toe-to-toe with Apple‘s newly launched flagships. Despite that, the latest flagship will reportedly have access to AirDrop-like sharing features that work well with Apple‘s ecosystem. Though there is no official launch date yet, the vivo X300 is rumoured to be unveiled on 13 October.
