KUALA LUMPUR: Sabah, Kelantan The Real Warriors (KTRW), Police and Melaka are still searching for their first win of the 2025-2026 Super League after both matches ended in goalless stalemates.
At the Likas Stadium, Sabah were left frustrated once more as they chalked up a third straight draw, this time against KTRW.
Jean-Paul de Marigny’s men managed six efforts on goal but rarely troubled the visitors’ back line, continuing a worrying trend after also starting last season without a win in their opening three fixtures.
The clash ended in controversy when Azhad Harraz’s 85th-minute strike was ruled out by VAR for offside, denying Sabah a potential winner and leaving home fans furious.
At Selayang Stadium, Police and Melaka also cancelled each other out in a drab affair that saw the visitors lose Irfan Zakaria and Afeeq Rosli to injuries in the second half — a major concern for coach K. Devan ahead of Friday’s trip to Sabah.
The Cops remain defensively sound under Eddy Gapil but still lack a cutting edge up front as they prepare to face KL City in Cheras on Wednesday.
