BOSTON: A federal judge said he would issue an order designed to prevent President Donald Trump‘s administration from exacting retribution against academics who challenged its arrest and deportation of non-citizen, pro-Palestinian activists on US college campuses.
US District Judge William Young spoke at a hearing in Boston federal court.

He had previously found in September that the US departments of State and Homeland Security violated the Constitution’s First Amendment.
The judge ruled their actions had a chilling effect on free speech by the non-citizen academics. – Reuters
