UM student group faces police probe over matriculation remarks


KUALA LUMPUR: Police will summon key individuals as part of an investigation into the University of Malaya student group, the Association of New Youth (UMANY), over remarks allegedly calling for the abolition of the national matriculation programme.

Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail said that four to five police reports had been lodged in relation to the matter.MORE TO COME
