WASHINGTON, July 16 (Xinhua) — U.S. wholesale prices, as measured by the Producer Price Index (PPI), saw no change in June from the previous month, according to data released Wednesday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Economists had forecast a month-on-month rise of 0.2 percent.
On a year-on-year basis, the headline PPI rose 2.3 percent, while the core PPI was up 2.6 percent, the smallest increase in the last 12 months.
