ALOR SETAR: Two men drowned while swimming off Pantai Chenang, Langkawi on Wednesday (Oct 22).
Langkawi Police deputy chief Supt Samsulmuddin Sulaiman said they received a report on the incident at 6.05 pm.
He said the victims are aged 38 and 46 and are from Selangor and had come to Langkawi with their families for a holiday.
“Both victims were pulled out of the sea by members of the public and taken to the Sultanah Maliha Hospital in Langkawi, where they were declared dead,” he said in a statement on Thursday (Oct 23). – Bernama
