PETALING JAYA:

Tuaran has denied involvement in the vandalising of a billboard featuring Warisan’s Pantai Dalit candidate, Aliasgar Basri.

Tuaran chief Razeef Rakimin pointed out that his division is not fielding a candidate for the seat.

“If Tuaran PKR wanted to send our greetings, we would have sent them via WhatsApp, or perhaps in a visit to the Warisan candidate’s home,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Razeef shared a photo of the billboard, with the words “PKR Kirim Salam” (PKR sends its regards) spray-painted on it.

He said Tuaran PKR would extend its full cooperation to any investigation by Warisan or the authorities to identify those responsible.
