US President Donald Trump‘s attendance at the 47th Asean Summit and Related Summits today further strengthens relations between Asean and the US, marking a new chapter in both bilateral and regional cooperation.
In a statement issued through the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) daily briefing, PM senior press secretary Tunku Nashrul Abaidah said Trump‘s official visit to Malaysia – his first since assuming office in January – provides an important opportunity for Asean to convey its collective stance on various regional and global issues.
