KUALA LUMPUR: The peace agreement between Thailand and Cambodia marks a significant step towards ensuring stability and prosperity in Southeast Asia, said United States President Donald Trump.
During the signing of the deal, known as the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accord, Trump said the US was proud to have played a role in facilitating the agreement.
“On behalf of the US, I am proud to have helped settle this conflict and to forge a future for the region where independent nations can prosper and thrive in safety, security, and peace,” he said.
