INDONESIA

1. GOTO CLARIFIES NADIEM MAKARIM HAS NO ROLE IN COMPANY — JAKARTA GLOBE

Indonesian tech giant GoTo Gojek Tokopedia (GoTo) on Friday issued a statement clarifying that Nadiem Makarim, recently named a corruption suspect, is no longer part of the company’s management or operations.

 

2. INDONESIA DEPORTS MOROCCAN NATIONAL WANTED FOR VIOLENT CRIMES — ANTARA

Indonesian immigration authorities have deported a Moroccan national, identified as NE, who was on Morocco’s wanted list for theft, violence, and child abduction, the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections said Saturday.
