KUALA LUMPUR: Todak are on the brink of qualifying for the Grand Finals of the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) Southeast Asia Fall after a strong performance in Super Weekend 1 in Bangkok on Sunday.

The Malaysian team finished fifth to secure seven league points.

Todak got off to a strong start on Day 2, winning the opening round with 10 eliminations and 10 placement points for a total of 20.

They continued to collect points across six rounds of play, ending with 83 points over two days to emerge as the best-performing Malaysian side.

The other Malaysian team, Homebois x Maqna Esports Club, collected 67 points, boosted by their Round 5 victory, to finish 12th out of 16 teams and earn three league points.

Vietnam’s Team Flash topped the standings with 102 points after they “activated” the “Smash Rule” by crossing the required points threshold and claiming a round victory.

Thailand’s E-Arena sit second on 107, while Indonesia’s Voin Esports are third with 99.Both Malaysian teams will return for the second week of group play from Wednesday to Friday in a bid to qualify for the final Super Weekend.

The top sides will advance to the Grand Finals from Sept 26-28.
