KUALA LUMPUR: Timor Leste has officially become the 11th Asean member state today, witnessed by the 10 other member countries.
The milestone was marked by a historic signing ceremony for the Declaration on the Admission of Timor-Leste into Asean, formally welcoming the bloc’s newest member.
