It was the 26-year-old’s fourth defeat in five meetings with 18-year-old Amina, a three-time world junior champion.

The Egyptian will face Belgium’s Nele Gilis, the world No. 14 and eighth seed, in the final.

In the men’s event, world No. 12 Ng Eain Yow also saw his run halted in the last four, beaten 11-3, 11-5, 11-7 in 39 minutes by New Zealand’s world No. 3 Paul Coll.

It was the Malaysian’s sixth loss to Coll in seven encounters.
