Redefining luxury test-drive experience

By assigning Malaysia’s most valuable number plate to a test-drive vehicle, the company has transformed a routine experience into an encounter with exclusivity and prestige.
The M2M number plate, displayed on a flagship Omoda Jaecoo model, brings the total valuation of the test-drive experience to over RM600,000 (approximately US$140,000), making it the most luxurious test-drive experience in ASEAN to date.
The meaning behind the ‘MM’ plate
The MM registration is part of the special M_M series introduced by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) to commemorate Malaysia’s Merdeka (National Day) in 2023.
Initially released as a patriotic series symbolising national unity and pride, the M_M plates quickly became some of the most sought-after vehicle registrations in the country. Following overwhelming demand, JPJ later released the remaining numbers via the MySikap portal — a move that collectively generated more than RM20 million in bids nationwide.
Today, the MM series represents more than just a registration number. It has become a symbol of national heritage and modern prestige, linking Malaysian pride with automotive distinction.
