Super League: Kelantan TRW Grind Out 2-1 Victory Against DPMM

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 (Bernama) — The Real Warriors (TRW) FC edged out DPMM FC 2-1 in a Super League clash at the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium in Bandar Seri Begawan, tonight.

Playing away, TRW were heavily challenged by the hosts before finally breaking the deadlock through team captain Ifedayo Olusegun in the 36th minute.

TRW doubled their lead five minutes later when Muhammad Nor Azam Abdul Azih beat DPMM goalkeeper Muhammad Haimie Abdullah Nyaring.

DPMM managed to close the gap in the 56th minute with a goal from Jordan de Paula Rodrigues, but despite relentless pressure from the home side in the final 10 minutes, Kelantan TRW’s solid defence held firm until the final whistle.

The victory lifted Kelantan TRW to fourth place in the league with eight points, while DPMM remain bottom with just one point.
