Sultan Nazrin Graces Warriors’ Day Celebration In Perak


IPOH, July 31 (Bernama) — The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, today graced the state-level Warriors’ Day Celebration 2025 at Dataran Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here. 

Also in attendance were the Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa, and the Raja Di Hilir of Perak, Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah.

His Royal Highness arrived at 9 am and was received by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, Western Fleet Commander Rear Admiral Datuk Pahlawan Abdul Halim Shaari, Perak police chief Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin, and Commander of the 2nd Infantry Brigade Brigadier General Mohamad Rosli Abu Bakar.

The ceremony commenced with the rendition of the Perak state anthem, followed by an inspection of the main guard of honour by Sultan Nazrin.

The guard of honour comprised three senior police officers and 102 lower-ranking personnel, led by Superintendent Mohd Aster Mohamad and assisted by Deputy Superintendent Ahmad Auzan Mohd Noor, while the standard bearer was Inspector Mohd Nor Syahid Shaharum.

The parade comprised 408 personnel from various security forces, including Malaysian Armed Forces veterans and retired police officers.

Following the inspection, the ‘Last Post’ was sounded and the Jalur Gemilang was lowered.

The ceremony continued with a prayer recited by Inspector Adib Azimat from the Perak Police Contingent Headquarters, followed by a poetry recital of ‘Darah Perwira Di Tanah Merdeka’ by Lieutenant Hadzeri Julai and Corporal Nurul Syuhada Azmi.

Upon completion, ‘The Rouse’ was played and the Jalur Gemilang was hoisted once more, followed by another rendition of the Perak state anthem.

Sultan Nazrin then proceeded to a Royal Banquet held at the Banquet Hall.
