Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) will contest 40 seats in the Nov 29 state election in Sabah, although it only announced 29 of its candidates today.
STAR president Jeffrey Kitingan, the outgoing deputy chief minister, said the remaining 11 candidates would be unveiled closer to nomination day on Saturday, Berita Harian reported.
Kitingan will seek a third term as Tambunan assemblyman, while STAR deputy president Kenny Chua is hoping to regain the Inanam seat he won on a PKR ticket in 2013.
