Sony has finally launched its latest midrange smartphone, the Xperia 10 VII, for the Malaysian market. As you may recall, it was initially introduced back in September and is revealed to feature a refreshed design, as well various upgrades which sets it apart from its predecessor.
To recap, the Xperia 10 VII comes with a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display offering a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Among its other physical features are dual front-facing speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP65/68 water and dust resistance rating. It is available in three colours: Charcoal Black, White, and Turquoise.


Under the hood, the Xperia 10 VII runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable by up to 2TB via microSD card. It houses a 5,000mAh battery and ships with Android 16 out of the box. Sony has also committed to providing four major OS upgrades and six years of security updates.


In the camera department, the phone sports a 50MP Sony Exmor RS main sensor alongside a 13MP ultra-wide camera, while the front hosts an 8MP selfie shooter. The phone also introduces a new dedicated shutter button that provides quick access to the camera.


Locally, the new Xperia 10 VII is priced at RM2,199. It is available now via Sony Malaysia’s official website, as well as authorised dealers nationwide.
