The situation in landslide and flood-affected areas of Sabah is improving, with all victims in Beaufort and Sipitang allowed to return home this morning, while conditions in Penampang, Papar and Membakut remain affected.
The Sabah State Disaster Management Committee said the number of evacuees in temporary relief centres has dropped sharply to 1,476 people from 459 families, compared with 2,256 people from 710 families yesterday evening.
