KUALA LUMPUR: The father of singers Ziana Zain and Anuar Zain, Zin Abdullah, passed away at 3.32pm this afternoon.
According to a close family source, Zin, 87, died at his home in Kayangan Heights, Shah Alam.
His body is expected to be buried at the Elmina Islamic Cemetery before the Maghrib prayer.
Attempts to contact the family for more details but has not yet received a response.
A retired police officer, Zin was a key figure in the careers of his children, singers Ziana and Anuar Zain.
He was also involved with the uniformed forces’ band.
