#SHOWBIZ: Bella Astillah cheers Syed Saddiq to Ironman finish in France

KUALA LUMPUR: Muar Member of Parliament Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman received a show of support from actress Bella Astillah, as he crossed the Ironman finish line in Nice, France.

A viral video showed Bella, 31, clad in a purple ‘baju kurung’, sprinting to the end while cheering him on.

“Come on, I’m proud of you. I’ll run with you,” she was heard saying.

The scene sparked an outpouring of congratulations for Syed Saddiq and admiration for Bella’s unwavering support.

“Syed Saddiq said his target was 14 hours, but he finished in 13. He broke his record. Well done, YB,” wrote one user.

Others highlighted the touching moment as a lesson in love, loyalty and sacrifice.

Syed Saddiq completed the triathlon — which tested endurance through swimming, cycling and running — in 13 hours and 4 minutes, beating his own target time.
