School supplies given to 500 children in Sepang constituency


Sepang MP Aiman Athirah distributes school supplies worth RM183 each to 500 children to ease parents’ burden for the new school term.

SEPANG: A total of 500 children from the Sepang parliamentary constituency have received school supplies to prepare for the new schooling session.

The aid packages, worth RM183 each, included uniforms, stationery and backpacks.

Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Aiman Athirah Sabu said the programme was organised by the Sepang parliamentary constituency service centre.

It was carried out with the assistance of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Dr Zulkifli Hasan and Yayasan Taqwa Majlis Agama Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP).

“It is part of the continuous effort to help reduce the burden of parents and to ensure children can start their new schooling session well prepared,” the Sepang MP posted on Facebook.

She said the MADANI government remains committed to helping those in need, especially in education.

This is to ensure no child is left behind and every generation has a chance for a brighter future.

Aiman Athirah added that she has channelled allocations of RM3.7 million in her parliamentary constituency.

Over RM1 million was specially designated for education initiatives to ensure access and support for local communities.

“May this initiative spur the children to continue striving for success in education,” she added. – Bernama
