Sarawak PKR chief Roland Engan named as party vice-president

PETALING JAYA:

Sarawak chief Roland Engan has been appointed a party vice-president, and Elizabeth Wong named as chief organising secretary, the party announced.

Roland joins four other vice-presidents who were elected to the posts at the party elections in May. They are: Amirudin Shari, Aminuddin Harun; Chang Lih Kang, and R Ramanan.

In a statement this evening after a leadership meeting, also confirmed Fuziah Salleh as secretary-general, Fadzil as information chief, William Leong as treasurer-general, Adam Adli as communications director, Malik as international bureau director and Akmal Nasir as head of the economic bureau.

Other appointments included:

Romli Ishak, Manolan Mohamad, Awang Husaini Sahari, Abu Hafiz Salleh Hudin, Afandi Salleh, Nor Azman Mohamad and Yuneswaran Ramaraj as members of the central leadership council.

Saifuddin Shafi Muhammad, Aidi Amin Yazid, Bryan Ng Yih Miin and Sivamalar Genapathy were appointed deputy secretaries-general;

Hee Loy Sian was appointed as deputy treasurer-general; Siti Aishah Shaik Ismail as deputy communications director; Syaril Showkat Ali as deputy chief organising secretary.

said that at the meeting, party president Ibrahim, who is prime minister, also shared his views and clarified several matters including the judicial appointment process and the ongoing conflict between Thailand and Cambodia.
