PUTRAJAYA: The fifth day of the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (Sara) programme saw RM106.1 million in sales, involving 1.7 million recipients, as of 9.30pm.
In a statement, the Finance Ministry said the transaction success rate remained stable at 99.5 per cent, consistent with the previous day’s performance.
The Ministry credited ongoing improvements and an expansion of the system’s processing capacity over the past four days for the smooth operations.
Since its launch on Aug 31, more than 6.6 million Malaysians, or 30 per cent of recipients, have used their Sara credits to purchase essential goods, with total spending reaching RM425.2 million nationwide.
