PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said payments under the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (Sara) and Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) programmes will be credited in stages beginning this month, as part of the government’s early 2026 cost-of-living support measures.
Speaking at the Prime Minister’s Department monthly assembly today, Anwar said Sara assistance would be credited as early as Jan 9, while the first phase of STR payments would begin on Jan 20.
