KUANTAN: Police have completed their investigation into the death of 13-year-old religious school student Zara Qairina Mahathir, linked to alleged bullying in Papar, Sabah on July 16.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the investigation paper would be submitted to the deputy public prosecutor (DPP) next week.
“Police have completed their investigations and have recorded statements from about 60 witnesses to shed light on Zara Qairina’s death. The investigation paper is expected to be submitted to the DPP next week,” he said to reporters after the passing out parade for the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency’s Junior Lieutenant and Leading Rate at Sultan Ahmad Shah Maritime Academy today.
