KUDAT: The time is now for Kudat to seize a crucial opportunity for development, with local boy Kevin Lee Sip Kim from Barisan Nasional positioned as a capable team player in the process, says MCA secretary-general Datuk Chong Sin Woon.
“Kudat is strategically placed.
“It can be good for tourism and major port development. It can be turned into a booming economic hub with the proper planning,” he said after accompanying Lee to the nomination centre on Saturday (Nov 15).
Chong acknowledged that the state election is fiercely contested, but described it as a “golden opportunity” to accelerate Kudat’s growth.
“Let’s all work hard for this goal,” he said, urging voters to back Lee as a candidate who understands the community and can help turn Kudat’s potential into reality.
Lee, who is candidate No 2 for Tanjong Kapor, said he is ready to give his all during the campaign.
“I am local-born. Having completed my nomination, I will spend the next two weeks presenting my vision for Kudat’s development and seeking the support of every voter,” he said.
