KUALA LUMPUR: Sabah PKR says it will contest 10 seats in the state election, in a line-up that includes the son of Sabah governor Tun Musa Aman.
However, the party has dropped former Sabah PKR chief Datuk Seri Christina Liew from the line-up.
Tun Musa’s eldest son, former deputy finance minister II Datuk Yamani Hafez Musa, will contest in Sindumin, a seat previously held by Warisan.
Yamani’s PKR membership had been the subject of speculation before being confirmed in late September.
He was elected as the Sipitang Member of Parliament after winning the 2018 general election on a Barisan Nasional ticket.
He later joined Bersatu and did not defend the seat in the 2022 elections.
