Ryt Bank was launched officially to the public on 25th August 2025 and they are progressively adding more features to its digital banking app.

By the end of September, Ryt Bank says customers can expect a smarter Ryt AI which will enable QR payments alongside transfers and bill settlements. They will also add an upgraded toggle feature which makes every transaction faster and more seamless.

Ryt Bank will also offer a fully integrated JomPAY flow which they say will provide customers an effortless way to manage bills and payments all in one place.

In addition to Ryt PayLater which currently works for merchant QR payments, Ryt Bank will soon add flexibility for Ryt Card where users can choose between debit and “credit” in-app. Ryt PayLater is essentially a BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) feature where users can get credit line up to RM1,499.

The digital bank currently offers 1.2% cashback (capped at RM5/month) for PayLater QR usage, up to 4% p.a. interest for Save Pockets and unlimited 1.2% cashback for overseas card transactions with zero foreign transaction fees.
