KYIV: President Volodymyr Zelenskiy confirmed a Russian bomb strike killed two people at a Ukrainian thermal power plant in Sloviansk.
The attack occurred on Thursday in the eastern city located within the Donetsk region near the front line.
Zelenskiy described the assault in his nightly video address as “strictly terror”.
He stated that energy sites served as the primary targets during overnight Russian drone and missile attacks.

Prosecutors in Donetsk region reported separate Russian attacks on private dwellings in Kramatorsk.
These attacks in Kramatorsk killed one person and injured three others.
