The finance ministry said today the prices of RON97 and RON95 petrol will remain unchanged for the coming week.
The price of RON97 is maintained at RM3.13 per litre, and RON95 at RM2.05 per litre.
In Peninsular Malaysia, the price of diesel will be reduced by five sen to RM2.85 per litre, while it will retail at the subsidised price of RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
These prices will be in effect until Aug 27.
In a statement, the ministry said the government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure the people’s continued welfare and wellbeing.
