PETALING JAYA:
The prices of RON97 petrol, non-subsidised RON95 and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will each rise by five sen from tomorrow, the finance ministry has announced.
RON97 will retail at RM3.25 per litre nationwide while non-subsidised RON95 will be sold at RM2.65 per litre.
Diesel will, meanwhile, be sold at RM3.07 per litre in West Malaysia.
Subsidised RON95 stays at RM1.99 per litre under the BUDI95 scheme, while diesel will retail at RM2.15 per litre in East Malaysia.
These prices will be in effect until Nov 19.
In a statement, the ministry said the government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure the people’s continued welfare and wellbeing.
