KUANTAN: Telecommunication companies are urged to be more serious and proactive in resolving communication line disruptions occurring throughout Pahang, including Raub.
Pahang communication and multimedia, youth, sports, and non-governmental organisations committee chairman Fadzli Mohamad Kamal highlighted that severe disruptions have persisted for three days in Kampung Pamah Kulat, Kampung Pamah Rawas, and Kampung Peruas in Raub.
“This situation is causing inconvenience to villagers, traders, and tourists holidaying around Ulu Dong,” he said in a Facebook post Sunday (Nov 9).
He noted that complaints are increasing daily, and telecommunication companies are taking too long to address them.
“Despite an engagement session with the companies in September, where they committed to improving service quality, the issues remain unresolved,” he said.
Fadzli also shared that he inspected the telecommunication towers in Kampung Pamah Kulat, Kampung Pamah Rawas, and Kampung Peruas this afternoon. – Bernama
