KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 15 — Rapid KL confirmed that all its rail services were operating normally as of 5pm despite the power outage that affected several parts of the Klang Valley earlier today.

The transport operator said no disruptions were reported on its network and advised commuters to follow its social media channels for the latest updates.

The statement came after Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) said electricity supply was being restored in stages following a disruption at the Edra Power Plant in Melaka.

TNB reported that power had been restored in several key areas including Damansara City, Sri Hartamas, Ampang, Bukit Jalil, Sri Damansara and Pasir Gudang Darat.

The partial blackout earlier in the day had affected consumers in parts of the Klang Valley and Johor, prompting a coordinated response by utility and transport operators.
