Qabil Irfan Crowned ESBK Talent 2025 Champion


KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 (Bernama) — Young national rider Qabil Irfan Azlan sealed the title early after dominating Race 2 of the ESBK Talent category in the sixth round of the 2025 Spanish Superbike Championship (ESBK) at the Estoril Circuit in Portugal today.

The Frando Racing VHC Team Liqui Mol rider, who had already won Race 1 yesterday, once again delivered a stellar performance to beat Spain’s Oliver Cantos by 2.755 seconds, while another Spaniard, Iza Rodriguez, finished third.

Qabil Irfan, 13, was crowned overall season champion with 252 points, leaving behind his closest rival, Alessio Arnold of Switzerland, who collected 191 points.

The Terengganu-born rider is scheduled to complete the final round in Jerez, Spain, this November.

Meanwhile, another Malaysian rider, Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli, 18, concluded his 2025 Red Bull Rookies Cup (RBRC) campaign in third place overall after finishing 10th in Race 2 of the seventh round at the Misano Circuit in Italy.

Spain’s Brian Uriarte claimed the championship with 236 points, followed by Indonesia’s Veda Pratama in second (181 points) and Muhammad Hakim in third with 171 points.
