KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 — The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has begun two proceedings regarding issues raised in the Auditor-General’s Report 3/2025, involving the management of government vehicles under concession agreements and the collection of bail under the e-Jamin system.

PAC chairman Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin said the proceedings on vehicle management were held on November 3 by summoning the Ministry of Finance (MOF), while the proceedings regarding the e-Jamin system were held on November 4, involving the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court.

“Regarding the government concession agreements under the MOF, the PAC will summon the Health Ministry, Defence Ministry and Home Ministry — the three ministries with the largest fleets managed under the concession.

“The PAC will also summon SPANCO Sdn Bhd, the company involved in the concession, to the proceedings,” she told a media conference at the Parliament Building today.

Mas Ermieyati said that regarding the e-Jamin system, the PAC will continue proceedings by summoning Dapat Vista (M) Sdn Bhd, the contractor that developed the system, as well as the Treasury Secretary-General (KSP), for further clarification.

Meanwhile, she said Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul has agreed with the PAC’s proposal to organise the National PAC Conference next year.

Mas Ermieyati said this following a joint meeting today with the chairmen of state Public Accounts Committees (PACs), secretaries and representatives of State Legislative Assembly Secretariats, aimed at strengthening the network of cooperation and governance sharing between the Parliamentary PAC and state PACs. — Bernama
