ISTANBUL: A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck near Bluff in southwestern New Zealand early Wednesday, Anadolu Ajansi reported citing the US Geological Survey.
The quake occurred at 01.16am local time (9.16pm Malaysia time, Tuesday), with a depth of 10 kilometres (6.21 miles) and centred approximately 286 km (177.7 miles) southwest of Bluff.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage. – BERNAMA
