JOHOR BAHRU, Oct 12 — Police have launched an investigation into a viral video showing a fight between two individuals near the Sultan Ibrahim Customs Complex here.
Johor Bahru Selatan district police chief ACP Raub Selamat said the video, circulated on social media this morning, depicted the altercation at the complex’s entrance.
He said the footage was shared through a Facebook link, which has since drawn wide attention online.
However, police checks confirmed that no official report has been lodged in relation to the incident.
“Police are identifying the individuals involved, witnesses, and the cause of the fight,” Raub said in a statement.
He urged the public not to share the video to prevent confusion and speculation that could disrupt public harmony.
