KUALA LUMPUR: Police have launched an investigation into a scuffle between two motorcyclists in Klang after a video of the altercation went viral on DashCam Malaysia’s Facebook page today.
Klang Utara police chief Assistant Commissioner Vijaya Rao Samachulu said the case is being probed under Section 323 of the Penal Code for causing hurt.
“Preliminary investigations revealed the incident took place on Sept 22, 2025, between 8am and 9am, at the three-way traffic light junction along Jalan Haji Abdul Manan heading towards Jalan Kapar.
“The dispute is believed to have stemmed from a traffic misunderstanding,” he said in a statement.
One of the motorcyclists has lodged a police report, while Vijaya urged other witnesses to come forward with information.
In the viral footage, one rider can be seen stopping at a T-junction as the light turned red.
Moments later, he suddenly slapped another motorcyclist who had halted beside him.
The situation quickly escalated, with both men dismounting and confronting each other.
The aggressor was seen shoving the other rider as tempers flared, before the scuffle spilled onto the road and obstructed waiting vehicles.
The clip ends with the pair ceasing their fight and returning to their motorcycles, though they continued exchanging heated words and gestures.
