KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to deliver a special address today, called the ‘Amanat Perdana,’ at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (Maeps) to inspire patriotism and strengthen national resolve.
The event, which is expected to draw more than 4,000 attendees, will be broadcast live on all major channels and social media platforms.
In a Facebook post yesterday, Anwar said the address is more than just a speech, serving as a platform to reflect on past struggles.
Attendees will include civil servants from various agencies and departments, uniformed bodies, educators, students, youth, and trade union representatives, as well as entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and small traders.
This year’s National Day celebration will be held at Dataran Putrajaya with the theme ‘Malaysia Madani: Rakyat Disantuni.’
