KOTA KINABALU: Malaysia has reached a stage where its focus must be on economic strength, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“The focus must be to strengthen our economy. Nobody is going to help us. People come and respect us because this country is peaceful and our policies are strong.
“If we want to succeed economically, we must maintain friendships with everyone.
“It doesn’t mean we agree on everything — it means we work together,” he said during an informal session at the Sabah Industries Association dinner.
