PM honours service, sacrifices of armed forces personnel on 92nd anniversary

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today expressed his appreciation to all armed forces personnel in conjunction with the 92nd Malaysian Armed Forces Day.

In a Facebook post, Anwar paid tribute to the service and sacrifices of military personnel in defending the nation’s sovereignty.

“May all armed forces personnel be blessed with good health, strength and unwavering fighting spirit in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities to the homeland,” he said.

The prime minister also extended his gratitude to veterans for their years of service and prayed for fallen heroes to be placed among the righteous.

“Al-Fatihah to the warriors who have gone before us.

“May their souls be showered with mercy and be placed among the righteous and the martyrs,” he said.
