KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended a contribution to a retired police officer in Pahang, honouring his service to the nation.
Anwar‘s political secretary, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, presented the contribution and a food basket to 79-year-old Juhari Sinjak during a visit to the veteran’s home in Kampung Paya Keladi.
In a Facebook post yesterday, which was also shared on Anwar‘s page, Ahmad Farhan said the “Ziarah MADANI” visit was a “symbol of love and appreciation for Juhari’s service and sacrifice in protecting the country’s peace”.
“Although he is now partially paralysed, he remains steadfast in going through his daily life. May this small assistance help ease his burden and serve as proof that the sacrifices of our veterans are always valued and never forgotten,” he said.
