KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his deepest gratitude to everyone who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the National Day celebration at Dataran Putrajaya yesterday.
He said their dedication had contributed to the extraordinary success of the event, which saw thousands of Malaysians gathering to mark the historic occasion together.
“Extraordinary. My highest appreciation goes to all security personnel, volunteers, civil servants and those who worked with full dedication to make the National Day celebration at Dataran Putrajaya a success.
“Not forgetting, thank you to the attendees who joined in to celebrate this meaningful moment as one people, one nation,” Anwar said in a Facebook post today.
He added that the strong turnout and commitment from Malaysians symbolised the country’s true strength, one that stems from unity, mutual respect and love for the homeland.
“The presence and commitment of everyone reflects Malaysia’s real strength — a strength born from unity, respect for one another, and deep love for our beloved country,” he said.
