PlayStation Asia is back with another round of promotions in Malaysia for selected PlayStation 5 consoles and titles. While it might not be as massive as the recent Days of Play sale, those who are looking to get their hands on a PS5 console might want to take advantage of the PlayStation Merdeka Sale.
For the PS5 consoles, you can obtain discounts of up to RM240 on selected variants. According to the PlayStation Merdeka Sale listing on Sony Store Malaysia’s official website, here what’s available on the table:

As for the games, four titles have been listed by PlayStation Asia on its Facebook page, including The Last Of Us Part II Remastered. However, only three titles were listed by Sony Store Malaysia:

However, we did eventually find The Last of Us Part II Remastered over at several retailers such as M4G and Urban Republic. Under the PlayStation Merdeka Sale, the game can be obtained for RM129 instead of RM209.
As you can see, the product availability varies from one retailer to another. Hence, you may want to check your favourite PlayStation retailer for further details before the PlayStation Merdeka Sale concludes this Thursday, 21 August 2025.
